Our coach is Ron Buckner; a respected Denver area bowler has coached for 25 years. He is the Head Coach for AMF Belleview’s YABA program, and is a Silver Level coach and a member of the United States Olympic Committee. Ron continues to donate his coaching time free of charge with hopes of getting the sport of Bowling more recognized throughout CSU. He also aspires to bring recognition to other Colorado bowlers showing them that bowling is available in state and that in time we can be a very competitive team. Ron has been our coach since the 1998 season (three years), and is willing to work with all skill levels of bowlers to help the Colorado State team compete at the collegiate level. He also enjoys playing in his band, Buckner Funken Jazz. You can see him perform at various locations throughout Colorado.
